Facing Mentality: A Guide to Coping With a Mentally Ill Parent
In loving memory of Terri Lynn

Meet the Author
Jamaica N. Sykes is a 23 year old millennial, Hokie, current graduate student at North Carolina State University, and lifetime member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. As a developing professional, she recently developed the desire to encourage, educate, and motivate people with mentally ill parents once mental illness became a reality for her shortly after the passing of her late mother, Terri Lynn, in 2014.
The ultimate goal of the e-book, website, and productions to come are to advise people on how to deal with all aspects of mentality NOW while their parents are alive and suffering.
We live in a time where the idea of mental illness, especially in the black community, is overlooked.
Let's FACE MENTALITY together by talking, educating, and loving in all ways, always.
